NURE develops Ukrainian-American scientific cooperation

Murad Omarov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, held an official reception with the team of the Ukrainian-American scientific project “Quantum technologies for the protection of 5G networks”. The parties discussed the progress of the project with Mr. Sang-Yun Chang, a professor at the University of Colorado Springs and a board member of the Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute.
Within this stage of the project, there were working meetings, an open lecture for students, a research workshop and a presentation of the KNURE infrastructure.

In 2021, the project won the US Civil Research and Development Foundation’s (CRDF Global) cybersecurity competition. The project coordinators are Hennadiy Khalimov, Head of the SIT Department and Maksym Kolisnyk, Head of the Development Office. The project is funded by the US Department of State. More at the link.
