Department of Infocommunication Engineering named after V.V. Popovsky of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has become a partner of CRDF Global project on cybersecurity development in Ukraine.
CRDF Global (US Civilian Research and Development Fund) is an independent non-profit organization focused on developing security, protection and sustainability in the world through science and innovation.
Under the project, schoolchildren and students will be implementing an online online course on Basic Security in the Digital Environment, developed by CRDF Global, in collaboration with EY’s cyber security expert team in Ukraine and Technomatix’s technical experts, with the assistance of the US Department of State (Office on assistance coordination in Europe and Eurasia).
This course is about learning the basic rules of digital (cyber) security while browsing the Internet. The course will help you learn about the major threats in the digital space, understand what information is the primary purpose of hackers, and remember basic recommendations for protecting your data, safe use of electronic devices and information resources.
As part of the project, registration and training on the platform is being conducted for participants – full-time students and future entrants, from April 30 to May 20, 2020.
