On March 27, athletes of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the Kharkiv Region Championship in classical powerlifting. According to the results of the competition, Victoria Akhremenko and Vladislav Ivanov won gold medals, Maria Mazel and, in the absolute weight category, Victoria Akhremenko – silver medals. Igor Lukienko won a bronze medal.
For the first time, Victoria Akhremenko, a candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in powerlifting, with a total weight of 290 kg, in the weight category up to 57 kg (squat 100 kg, press 65 kg, traction 125 kg) and Igor Lukienko with a total weight of 410 kg, in the weight category up to 59 kg (squats 140 kg, press 110 kg, traction 160 kg). The coach of the NURE powerlifting team is Natalia Didyuk.
