The project of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics “Introduction of rapid prototyping for upper respiratory tract modelling in normal and typical situations”, which was developed together with the Institute of multiphase processes of the University V. Leibniz (Hannover), won the competition of joint Ukrainian-German research projects with the implementation in 2019 – 2020.Under the guidance of NURE Professor Oleg Avrunin and Professors of the University of V. Leibniz Birgit Glassmacher the project was co-financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung https://www.bmbf.de/).
Support for this project shows the relevance of scientific topics and long-term international scientific cooperation between universities in the field of education, research and innovation.
