NURE academicians took part in the scientific symposium under the auspices of WHO

Scientists and representatives of the Department of Biomedical Engineering of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics took part in the scientific symposium that was conducted under the auspices of the World Health Organization and the International Radiology Society. The event took place on March 23 in the format of online and was devoted, in particular, to the role of screening radiography and modern information technologies in increasing the efficiency of tuberculosis detection.  At the invitation of specialists in the Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology named after S.P. Grigoriev NAMS of Ukraine the broadcasts joined students, graduates, postgraduates and teachers of the BME Department studying in CPE on radiation safety courses in medicine.  The reports were emphasized by the need to develop portable radiographic systems and highly effective image recognition software based on artificial intelligence.  The symposium was conducted on the occasion of the World Tuberculosis Day, which is celebrated on March 24.
