Online chess memorials dedicated to the memory of famous grandmasters Vladimir Savon and Stanislav Bogdanovich were held on international chess Internet platforms Chess.com and Lichess.com. Maria Berdnik, a first-year student of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, took part in the competition, who, according to the results of the competition, won first place among women in both tournaments, and in the overall standings in the tournament in memory of Vladimir Savon, Maria took 16th place, and in the second tournament – 37th place.
Vladimir Andreevich Savon – Kharkiv grandmaster, repeated winner of student world championships in the USSR national team (1962, 1964-67), champion of the USSR of 1971, Olympic champion in the USSR national team of 1972.
Stanislav Eduardovich Bogdanovich – Odessa grandmaster, a participant in the Ukrainian championships in classical chess, multiple medalist and champion of Ukraine in fast and lightning chess.
