On January 24, the International Education Day, first proclaimed in 2018 by the United Nations, in order to commemorate the role of education for peace and development.
When launching this holiday, the world community recognized the fact that education is a key factor in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, aimed at supporting first and foremost quality and affordable education.
