GreenMetric World University Ranking is a global ranking that reflects universities’ commitment to sustainable development and clean infrastructure.
Universities are rated by 6 parameters: overall campus ordering, transportation policy, waste management programs, energy efficiency technologies, water conservation, sustainable development education.
It takes into account the availability of training courses on environmental issues, projects on global climate change, ecology, environmental impact, the amount of scientific work on environmental topics, the involvement of students in achieving the goals of sustainable development.
In 2019, 780 universities from 85 countries are ranked. NURE participated in the ranking for the first time and took 628th place. Among Ukrainian universities – the 7th place.
