“EU Cybersecurity Framework and Policies” course started

On May 24, the second year of the Erasmus+ Project Jean Monnet module “Integrating EU Cyber Security Frameworks and Policies in Ukraine” started the course “EU Cyber Security Frameworks and Policies”.
The course is taught by Maryna Yevdokimenko, professor in the Department of Infocommunication Engineering named after V.V. Popovsky of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.
This year more than 60 participants have registered for the course, including not only NURE students, but also students and lecturers from other universities of Ukraine, such as Khmelnitsky National University, State University of Intellectual Technologies and Communications, National Aviation University, National University “Zaporozhye Polytechnic”, National University “Lviv Polytechnic”, State University of Telecommunications, etc.
The course focuses on the study of European Union strategic documentation, policies and frameworks on cybersecurity, such as the Cyber Defence Policy Framework, EU’s Joint Framework on countering hybrid threats, Network and Information Security (NIS) Directive, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENICA), EU cybersecurity certification framework, Directive on the Security of Network and Information Systems.
