On February 19, on the basis of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics,a new training laboratory was opened, the project was implemented at the initiative of the NURE partner – EPAM.
In collaboration with the University, the company has provided the full laboratory equipment, which is designed for the simultaneous work of 50 students.
Presenting the project, the head of the educational programs of EPAM Ukraine Maxim Pochebut stressed that the implementation of such a projects in cooperation with the University of Radio Electronics will improve the quality of education of young specialists and fill it with practice and real business cases:
“NURE is a long-term strategic partner of our company. We have joined forces to improve the quality of education of young professionals. In addition to opening laboratories, our specialists conduct internships on the basis of offices for students and teachers. Such comprehensive cooperation yields the results – the level of training of young specialists in the growing IT market is improving every year. ”
Also, during the event, the University Rector emphasized the importance of cooperation between education and business, which allows to implement such projects:
“It is difficult to overestimate the potential and opportunities that are opening up to our students thanks to the implementation of such projects. Knowledge and practical skills, especially if they meet modern requirements – an indispensable component in the preparation of a highly qualified specialist. I am sure that this equipment will become the foundation for future professionals. The opening of such a laboratory from the company EPAM Ukraine is a great example of fruitful cooperation between universities and business, ”said Professor Valerii Semenets.
In addition, the grand opening of the laboratory was visited by the First Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Anatoly Babichev, who stressed the importance of supporting the implementation of such projects by the Regional Administration and noted that cooperation between business and education makes it possible to qualitatively reform the educational base of higher education.
