Academic and Research Laboratory «Recognition, Analysis and Data Processing in Computer Vision Systems»

The main purpose of the laboratory is to conduct joint research with students aimed at: developing innovative methods of analysis, processing and interpretation of visual information, introducing computer vision technology into the learning process, applying the developed software and hardware to modern systems of artificial intelligence, providing of industrial organizations with recommendations for the automation and processing of multivariable data.

Laboratory staff has published 12 monographs, defended 40 Ph.D. and 6 doctoral theses. Two training classes were created based on scientific achievements in cooperation with Infobud, Miratex, Epam companies.

Research directions:

  • Systems of normalization, analysis, interpretation, image and video recognition and processing;
  • multiple dot methods for data analysis;
  • hierarchy-structured analysis of multidimensional signals under incomplete information;
  • computer vision applications.
