On this day we honor the courage and patriotism of our compatriots who stood up for democratic values, human and civil rights and freedoms, national interests of our country and its European choice.
The events that took place in November 2013, when millions of our compatriots stood up to defend democratic values, have changed and continue to radically change the consciousness of Ukrainians, shape our ideals, aspirations and self-identity.
Too high was the price paid for our freedom. The war brought great grief to every home, every family, thousands of lives were lost defending peaceful life, independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. However, above all, we, Ukrainians, have demonstrated to the whole world that we are united and will defend our sovereignty. I would like to thank our defenders, who every minute defend our freedom and independence, for their patriotism, courage and for the fact that every day risking their lives they firmly hold the line of defense.
Our faith in victory is unshakable! Everything will be Ukraine!
