For the fourth year in a row, NURE has been a member of the Public organization Ukrainian Scientific IT Society.
On December 20, 2022, the regular General Meeting of members of the NGO UNIT was held in a remote format, which was attended by teachers and scientists of NURE.
The NGO “Ukrainian Scientific IT Society” is a voluntary professional association created to promote the development of higher education, research and development in the field of information technology.
The NGO “Ukrainian Scientific IT Society” is a voluntary association of individuals created to:
– promoting the successful development of higher education, research and development in the field of information technology in Ukraine, effective interaction with specialized industrial enterprises and organizations, international cooperation for the implementation of joint research and educational projects;
– Increasing the influence of the scientific and pedagogical community on the formation and implementation of the strategy for the development of higher education in general and information technology in particular.
Areas of activity of the NGO UNIT:
- Coordination of work and interaction with governmental and public structures. Interacting with and submitting proposals to governmental and non-governmental organizations for the development of IT education and research. Search for partners in Ukraine and abroad in the interests of the Organization’s functioning and development.
- Analytics of the IT market, areas of education, science and technology development. Research on trends and prospects for the development of the IT industry in Ukraine and abroad.
- Improving IT education in Ukraine. Analyzing the needs and trends of the information technology market and their application in various industry sectors to identify promising specialties, specializations for training in higher education institutions, as well as retraining of IT and related industries.
- Promoting the development and deepening of cooperation with the industry. Increasing the effectiveness of cooperation with the IT industry for successful student employment.
- Research and innovation activities. Developing proposals and promoting the implementation of innovative principles of university development and significantly improving the motivation of teachers and researchers to implement R&D projects. Promoting the development of the startup movement.
- International activities. Raising the rating of university researchers by finding opportunities for publications and participation in conferences and projects. Interaction with European and international professional organizations in the IT industry. Organizing assistance in preparing projects and obtaining grants.
- Media communications. Development of a strategy for disseminating information about the Organization’s activities and sustainable development of the results obtained. Interaction with media representatives to disseminate information and present Ukrainian scientists and scientific schools.
- Professional orientation and popularization of the IT industry among schoolchildren and youth. Conducting events to disseminate information about the IT industry and its development directions among school and college students. Organizing career guidance and information events to popularize IT specialties and professional activities. Supporting talented schoolchildren.
