On December 24, the Department of Education of the Kharkiv City Council, the Kharkiv Center for the Professional Development of Teachers and NURE held the VII City Tournament of Young Informatics for pupils of 9-11th grades of general secondary education institutions of Kharkiv in a remote format. The tournament was attended by students representing the city districts and Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum № 27.
The jury included scientists of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. During the tournament, young computer scientists developed a landscape generator with the ability to change the terrain and display it in two or three dimensions.
The winners of the tournament were the teams:
– “:action_27” of Kharkiv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum № 27 of Kharkiv City Council (team leader Solodukha P.V.);
– “XLV_2*(11+8)” of the pupils of Kharkiv educational complex № 45 “Academic Gymnasium” of Shevchenkivskyi district (team leader Arzubov M.O.).
The second place was taken by the team “United Programming” of pupils of secondary schools №№ 8, 25, 103, 122 of Saltiv district (team leader Babin O.S.).
Diplomas of the III degree were awarded:
– the team of pupils “NanoCode” of Novobavarsky district consisting of pupils of secondary schools №№ 39, 65, 162 (team leader Parkhomenko I.V.)
– the team of students of the Industrial district consisting of students of schools №№ 40, 104, 119 (team leader Dorokhova L.V.).
The winners of the City Tournament will represent Kharkiv at the All-Ukrainian Tournament of Young Informatics, which will be held in Uman on January 10-15, 2023 in a remote format.
