In March, the Ukrainian Bench Press Championship among all age groups was held in Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region. Under the guidance of the coach and acting head of the Department of Physical Education of our university, Natalia Didiuk, the candidate for master of sports of Ukraine in bench press, Alyona Didiuk, performed for the first time among adults and showed an excellent result in bench press – 102.5 kg. She won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 57 kg at these prestigious competitions.
