From 28 to 30 November, the I International Scientific and Practical Conference “Information Systems and Technologies in Medicine” ISM-2018 was held on the basis of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, which brought together leading scientists from Kharkov, Ukraine, and the world within KNURE.
For three days, the guests of the event discussed the trends in the use in medicine of the latest developments and innovative systems for diagnostics, as well as the prevention and treatment of diseases using modern technologies.
“This is the first time that an event of this level on the topic of medical technology is held on the basis of the University of Radio Electronics. For me, as a Ukrainian scientist, it is very important that Ukrainian science and medicine not only keep abreast of the world, but also be the flagship of modern innovations in this field. Therefore, I am very grateful to everyone who joined the work of the International Conference, and I wish you all fruitful work, ”said Valery Semenets, Rector of KNURE, said welcoming the participants.
In the framework of the conference on November 30, the Council of Young Scientists of KNURE organized a meeting of the round table of young scientists, graduate students and undergraduates on the theme “Information systems and technologies in medicine: modern challenges and prospects”. Young scientists discussed opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of medical information systems and technologies. We exchanged views on the informatization of Ukrainian medicine and the development of IT projects aimed at solving medical problems. The holding of the round table at the international conference “Information Systems in Medicine” made it possible to involve young scientists from different regions of Ukraine, but also from other countries, in the interview.
At the ceremonial closing of the event, the conference was summed up, and all guests received certificates of participants.
