In 2015, the historic UN Summit was held in New York, at which 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 tasks were approved. They are part of the document “Transforming our world: an agenda for sustainable development until 2030”, adopted by world leaders. Thus, a list of new guidelines for world development was identified, which should promote economic growth, rational use of nature and meet a number of social needs of mankind. Ultimately, prevent him from completely destroying the planet’s ecosystem and himself along with it.
Ukraine has also joined the global process. As part of the implementation of the concept in Ukraine, within the educational product developed by the UN Development Program in Ukraine with the financial support of the German Government through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, which also includes a course for business representatives and a course for civil servants, “How to proceed: Communities on sustainable development”. The course is taught by Mustafa Sait-Ametov, the head of the program for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the regions.
In 2020, Ganna Bielianinova, a specialist on Sustainable Development Goals, successfully passed the certified course.
