From May 14 to 17, 2019, the IV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Polygraphic, multimedia and web-technologies” (PMW-2019) was held at Kharkov National University of Radioelectronics, devoted to the 100th anniversary of the creation of the National Library of Ukraine “The Book Chamber of Ukraine named after Ivan Fedorov” and 75th Anniversary of the Department of Mediasystem and Technology KNURE.
Scientific library of KNURE within the framework of the conference:
• On May 14, a selection of book editions from the library fund was organized on the theme of the conference, on the basis of which the exposition was prepared and the concise information about the published publications as a pointer was printed;
• On May 15, representatives of Kharkiv libraries and publishing business met with a professor, candidate. technical sciences Senchenko Nikolai Ivanovich, director of Book Ukraine “. At the meeting, the guest spoke about the activities of the institution he leads about the projects being developed and advocated by the KP staff, on the role and place of electronic analogues of publications and bibliographic databases in the social communications system, as well as on their author’s and public activities;
• at the section sessions two reports were presented – “Using the latex system during the preparation of scientific publications” (Grishchenko TB, Deineko Zh.V., Nikitenko O.M.) and “Conditions of compliance of scientific journals and collections with the requirements of authoritative scientometric databases “(Plechko N.V.).
Participants and guests at the presentation of the summer school program for students and teachers of KNURE (Poland-Austria) from the University of WSG, as well as excursions to the Research Institute of “Laser Technologies” and the printing house “Ranok”, at the exhibition of student design work. All participants received a lot of useful information and “sea” of emotions!
Also during the conference, Marina Zhenchenko, a monograph “Digital Transformations in the Publishing Industry” was presented that could be purchased and ordered for libraries.
