The Television сenter provides multimedia production for the needs of the university and its subdivisions, participates in the educational process in conjunction with the profile departments, works on the development of the Student Media University. The department is part of the Media training workshop “Student Media”.
Main directions of activity of the department:
- work on the creation of multimedia products for the needs of the University and its subdivisions (promotional, scientific, information and presentation videos about the university and its subdivisions, films dedicated to the jubilee dates of the university, faculties, departments and prominent scientists, video tutorials and video films for the educational process and the system of remote student training, reports from scientific conferences, forums, seminars, olympiads and exhibitions, opening of new laboratories, centers and affiliates, etc.);
- classroom and non-auditing work with students (professional practical and laboratory classes, student practice, master’s degree work);
- Organization of the Student Media University: Student television NURE TV, Student magazine І•NURE and Student radio online NURE•FM . Preparation of student media projects for participation in festivals and contests;
- popularization of the university among entrants, conducting excursions for schoolchildren, graduates of technical schools, students of preparatory courses, foreign entrants;
- cooperation and establishment of bilateral contacts with profile departments and subdivisions of other universities, various media organizations and companies of Ukraine, television channels and studios;
- technical work on maintenance and diagnostics of the hardware-studio complex and computer equipment, television cameras and other equipment.
