April 30, at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics with the support of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Murad Omarov, the representatives of the Baku international multiculturalism center (BMCM) Marina Goncharuk met with students of NURE. The students got acquainted with the concept of multiculturalism and its implementation in Azerbaijan, the main activities BMCM and conditions of a nationwide essay contest among students on the theme “Azerbaijani multiculturalism as a fundamental concept of peace and tolerance”. During the event, Marina Goncharuk invited students to join the all-Ukrainian essay contest among students on “Azerbaijani multiculturalism as a fundamental concept of peace and tolerance”, organized by the Baku international center of multiculturalism.
The competition will be held in two stages:
the first stage is from September 15 to November 7, 2019 (the jury in Ukraine will determine 30 finalists);
the second stage is from November 7 to November 14, 2019 (the jury in Baku will determine the winners).
The awards ceremony will be held in November 2019.
Requirements for works: volume up to 10 pages, Word document (in the letter specify the name, date of birth, name of the University, faculty, phone number).
To conduct the research, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with the thematic literature that is freely available on the website of the Baku international center for multiculturalism (multikulturalizm.gov.az).

The project coordinator is the representative of the Baku international multiculturalism center Marina Goncharuk (goncharuk_maruna@ukr.net).
Students who will take the first, second and third places will become participants of the winter or summer international school of multiculturalism, during which they will get acquainted with the history of multicultural Azerbaijan.
Participants who took 4-10 places will receive valuable gifts.
The expenses for flights, accommodation and meals are covered by the Baku international center for multiculturalism.
