Students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Alyona Nosareva and Vira Popruha took part in the Ukrainian Women’s Checkers 64 Championship.
The event took place from 18 to 26 September in the city of Dnipro. According to the results of the competition, Alyona Nosareva won a bronze medal in the tournament with classic time control, and the athlete also fulfilled the standard of the Master of Sports of Ukraine. Vira Popruha took the fourth and two fifth places.
The next is the Ukrainian men’s and women’s checkers 100 championship, which will take place in November.
