The main goal of the educational program “Information Management Technologies” is to train specialists in the field of IT management and implementation of projects for the development of modern information systems.
We train specialists who are able to implement complex IT projects and support information systems throughout their entire “life cycle”.
The main areas of training specialists in the educational program “Information Management Technologies” are:
- information technologies for developing and managing IT projects;
- information technologies for managing and processing big data (Big Data);
- network and cloud technologies and the Internet of Things.
During the training, the following are studied:
visual languages and application development environments, programming technologies, distributed database management systems, big data processing, Internet programming frameworks, software refactoring, quality management technologies and software product testing, strategic project management technologies, search engines and SEO, mobile technologies and the Internet of Things.
Key skills and competencies that a bachelor will possess in the educational program “Information Management Technologies”:
1. Design, development and implementation of software and information systems using OOP, Agile and cascade technologies (C++, C#, Python, ASP.NET, CoreJava, JDBC, Scrum, Waterfall, Kanban).
2. IT project management using design solutions based on Prince2, Pmbox.
3. Management of development and promotion of mobile systems and Web applications based on object-oriented programming technologies, Web services and client-server database technologies (Java, JavaScript, Spring Framework, CSS, HTML, Web services (SOAP, REST), Oracle (PL SQL), MySQL, MSSQL, Firebird).
4. Quality management and software testing automation (Jira, Trello, Jenkins).
5. Computer analytics based on big data processing (MapReduce, Hadoop).
