Another ranking of the world’s universities by popularity on the Internet – uniRank University Ranking – has been published. The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics rose from 31st to 19th place among 185 Ukrainian higher educational institutions. In the world ranking we occupy the 3945th position and the third among Kharkiv HEIs after KhNU named after V.N. Karazina and National Aerospace University.
The Australian company uniRank, which until 2017 operated under the 4ICU brand, evaluates more than 13,800 universities from 200 countries.
The ranking takes into account the official web resources of universities on independent webometric indicators that characterize the number of visits to the university’s websites and its mention on the Internet:
Moz Domain Authority – the number and quality of external links to the site according to Google search engine;
Alexa Global Rank – the number of visitors and the number of pages viewed by them in the Alexa system;
SimilarWeb Global Rank;
Majestic Referring Domains – the number and quality of external links to the site according to the search engine Majestic;
Majestic Trust Flow – determines the strength of the links that are posted on the site.
