On February 19, the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Valerii Semenets opened a new laboratory created on the basis of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of the University of Radio Electronics.
NURE purchased powerful computer equipment financed by the EU grant program Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE within the project “Academic response to hybrid threats” (610133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) where our University fulfills the role of the national coordinator. Both Departments (Artificial Intelligence and Economic Cybernetics and Management of Economic Security) implementing the project started establishing the interfaculty Hub with equipping their laboratories accordingly to the project objectives namely, to maintain the corresponding Master’s programs and research on hybrid threats in the fields of artificial intelligence and economic security. The total amount of purchased equipment is 771,665.64 UAH. Purchased powerful computer equipment allows the development of decision support systems based on data-driven models and artificial intelligence techniques.
