Oleksandra Korneichuk, a pupil of the 10th grade of the Kharkiv Regional Boarding School “Giftedness” of the Kharkiv Regional Council, took part in the finals of the All-Ukrainian competition-defence of research works of students-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Her work on “Study of the influence of hyperparameters of fully connected and convolutional neural networks on the qualitative characteristics of learning and classification” was presented by the Kharkiv region in the Department of Computer Science of the section “Information Systems, Databases and Artificial Intelligence Systems”. According to the results of the defence, Oleksandra took second place in the section. Yevhen Bodyansky, Professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, was an expert consultant. The coordinator of work with specially gifted schoolchildren is the Associate Professor of the Department of Software Engineering of NURE Alexander Vechur.
