Mykhailo Kizilov, a sixth-year student of NURE, took part in the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Inclusive Educational Environment: Problems, Prospects and Best Practices”, which took place on November 24-25, 2021 at the Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine”, Kyiv.
Mikhail Kizilov presented a report: “Educational and social inclusion of people with disabilities. Interdisciplinary approach”.
The aim of the conference was to integrate the efforts of scientists, educators, entrepreneurs, industrialists and public figures to discuss and solve a wide range of problems of teaching and educating people in an inclusive educational environment.
The conference was held in the following sections:
- Educational and social inclusion of people with disabilities: an interdisciplinary approach.
- Psychological and pedagogical foundations of professional development of youth self-realization in an inclusive educational environment.
- Inclusive educational environment of the New Ukrainian School.
- Medical, physical and sports rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
- Current issues of employment of people with disabilities.
- Legal and organizational principles of formation and development of inclusive educational environment.
- Theoretical and practical principles of using engineering technologies for the development of an inclusive educational environment.
- Information and communication technologies of inclusive education.
- Scientific directions of design of barrier-free architectural environment.
During the meeting “Best Practices in Employment of People with Disabilities”, the speakers shared their invaluable and, most importantly, practical experience. As a result of this meeting, guidelines for the employment of people with disabilities, including this experience, will be published. They talked about “Inclusion in the international arena: the challenges of today”, where foreign colleagues shared with us their experience and how they overcome obstacles.
