Digital operators Lifecell and Ericsson opened a Telecom laboratory in NURE

 November 16. Representatives of Lifecell and Ericsson Ismet Yazici and Yaroslav Nitsak  visited the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics in order to open a new training laboratory within the framework of the project “Lifecell Universities” together with the University authorities.

 The laboratory, the equipment of which is one of the most modern, will give the students of telecommunication specialties a real practical experience in the organization of  the work of the test mobile operator, using a full-fledged GSM network for this purpose.

 “It’s difficult to overestimate the potential and opportunities that open up to our students, thanks to the implementation of such a projects.  Knowledge and practical skills, especially if they meet modern requirements, is a compulsory component in the training of a highly skilled specialist.  I am sure that this equipment will become the foundation for future professionals.

 The opening of such a laboratory is a great example of a fruitful cooperation between universities and a company that is indifferent to the development of the Ukrainian telecommunications industry, and I am grateful to the project “lifecell universities”, – stressed the Rector of NURE Valerii Semenets.

 Also, together with the rector, the guests met with students, during this meeting  they discussed the current trends of the telecom industry and the prospects for its development.
