Educational program Social Informatics

Educational-professional program «Social Informatics» is oriented on preparation of the high-qualified specialists who own the knowledge system in the field of computer science, who are familiar with modern scientific achievements of this field, who are able to formulate and solve and systemize practical issues in their professional activity with the usage of fundamental and applicable methods of system-logical and computer sciences what gives an opportunity to solve the innovational tasks effectively according to an appropriate level of professional activity.

The accent of the program is focused on the formation of a specialist who will be able to solve complex problems connected with the usage of the modern and advanced intellectual knowledge the oriented cognitive methods and technologies of the noosphere stage of science development; ontological, the objects and other models of information and knowledge of any problem areas for the improving of the efficiency, quality and optimization of the business activity of the organization, the state, the person at the research level of professional activity.

 

The Master will own the following skills and competencies:

  1. Ability to analyze and research the data in the information environment, in society; the use of methods of information and analytical activity and systematization of knowledge for the search, reception, and processing of information, ensuring a sustainable development on the basis of systemological noosphere approach.
  2. Ability to remove and systematize data in the subject area, create the ontological models of knowledge, to use the basic methods and models of control and knowledge engineering using the systemological classification analysis.
  3. Ability to detect the patterns, the application of methods of processing information, data and knowledge using a systemological approach.
  4. Ability to construct logical conclusions, the use of formal languages and models, the modeling of the subject areas for the creation of information systems.
  5. Ability to understand the modern system-logical methods of the modeling objects and processes, and phenomena in order to increase the organization’s competitiveness.
  6. Ability to investigate and systematize conceptual knowledge based on the criteria of natural classification.
  7. Ability to noosphere system thinking; the application of the methodology of the noosphere system analysis to analyze complex problems of different characteristics, methods of formalization and solving complex problems.
  8. Ability to apply theoretical and practical bases of the methodologies and the simulation technologies for studying the characteristics and behavior of the complex systems on the basis of the systemological approach.
  9. Ability to apply the methodology of the noosphere system analysis to study the complex problems of a different kind, formalization methods and solving system problems.
  10. Ability to use the modern instrumental means of modeling to optimize the business activity using a systemological approach.
  11. Ability to analyze, formulate, develop and design the requirements of the customer based on a systemological approach.
  12. Ability to conduct a systemological analysis of the activities and structure of organizations.
  13. Ability to use modern Internet tools in order to optimize the work of organizations on the basis of a systemological approach.
  14. Ability to provide analytical support to the organization on the basis of a systemological approach.
  15. Ability to analyze and functional designing of the business processes, creation and practical application of functional designs of complex systems based on a systemological approach.
  16. Ability to search, analyze, accumulate and systematize information and knowledge about the internal and external conditions of the organizational system on the basis of systemological analysis.
  17. Ability to analyze business systems and analytical processing of information resources to ensure the stable functioning of complex systems based on a systemological approach.
  18. Ability to research and form an intellectual capital, competences of knowledge management and learning organization.
  19. Ability to research and use Big Data to obtain an essential competitive advantage in business.
