During the visit, representatives of the University of Radio Electronics got acquainted with the equipment and working laboratories of the institution, discussed he experience of implementing projects for student practice with the Polish colleagues and met with the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Tomasz Nowakowski, with whom they discussed the future joint initiatives.

 Dmitry Ganshin and Nikolay Alferov told the future developers about the concept of devices, trends in their development, features, and also helped the visitors to implement their first projects.    

 A three-day event which is attended by the representatives of education and science, inventors, producers, business representatives and authors of startup projects from Ukraine and the EU, takes place in the format of exhibitions and conferences, where delegates from the KNURE joined the discussion of modern trends in the development of education.

 The laboratory, the equipment of which is one of the most modern, will give the students of telecommunication specialties a real practical experience in the organization of  the work of the test mobile operator, using a full-fledged GSM network for this purpose.

 “It’s difficult to overestimate the potential and opportunities that open up to our students, thanks to the implementation of such a projects.  Knowledge and practical skills, especially if they meet modern requirements, is a compulsory component in the training of a highly skilled specialist.  I am sure that this equipment will become the foundation for future professionals.

 The opening of such a laboratory is a great example of a fruitful cooperation between universities and a company that is indifferent to the development of the Ukrainian telecommunications industry, and I am grateful to the project “lifecell universities”, – stressed the Rector of NURE Valerii Semenets.

 Also, together with the rector, the guests met with students, during this meeting  they discussed the current trends of the telecom industry and the prospects for its development.

 It should be reminded that within under the agreement on cooperation with LG Electronics Wrocław, the NURE students receive professional training and internships at the enterprise, combining practice at a modern enterprise with an educational program at Wroclaw University.

In November students will begin to study the course “Fundamentals of Computer – Integrated Technologies” 

Another lecture and practice on modern full-scale models were conducted for the students by the Associate Professor of Biochemistry of KNMU Tatiana Popova. She spoke about the biophysical and biochemical processes in the anatomy of the gastrointestinal tract of humans.

According to the management of the Department, such lectures are very important not only in the context of the preparation of highly qualified specialists, but also for the students ‘ participation in exchange programs DAAD and Erasmus +

 Such an exhibition is an important event for entrants. It will help determine in the choice of educational institution and future profession.  The purpose of the event is to present young people the achievements of higher education in the Kharkiv region, Ukraine and Europe.

 This year, NURE shows two presentation platforms, one of which is organized jointly with the Polish University of Economics (WSG), which became the official partner of the University of Radio Electronics in the program of double diploma in March 2017.

The event was opened by the rector of NURE, professor Valerii Semenets, who emphasized the importance of holding such exhibitions and invited young people to get acquainted with the programs and opportunities that exist today in Kharkiv and Europe.

 During the event, Professor Semenets presented diplomas of the honorary professors of NURE to the representatives of the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz Prof.Mažena Sobchak-Mikhailovska and Prof.Svetlana Kashuba. 

During the meeting with the leadership of the University of Radio Electronics, the sides discussed issues of teaching foreign students in NURE, exchanging students, as well as joint educational projects and programs. 

“Thanks to the fruitful cooperation between our professors and colleagues from the WSG University , our students have been trained in Poland for more than one time, gaining invaluable experience, and this is a very important point in our cooperation”, – said the Rector of the NURE Valerii Semenets.
