Education and Career

In 1983 he graduated from Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics, specializing in the design and manufacture of radio electronic devices (diploma with honors).

From August 1983 to December 1984, he worked as an engineer at the Design Bureau of the “Electro instrument making” (Kharkiv).

Since November 1986 he has been working at the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics at the Department of Technology and Automation of the Production of Radio Electronic and Electronic Computing Means: junior researcher (1986-1989), researcher (1989-1991), assistant (1991-1993), senior lecturer (1993 – 1995), associate professor (1995-2000), doctoral student (2000-2003), assistant professor (2003-2005), professor (September-October 2005).

In 1995 he defended his Ph.D. thesis at the Specialized Scientific Council of the Research Institute of Instrumentation Technology (RIIT).

In 2004 he defended his doctoral dissertation in the Specialized Scientific Council of the RIIT on the specialty “Automation of Management Processes”.

2007 – Assigned the academic title of professor at the Department of Technology and Automation of the Production of Radio electronic and Electronic Computing Devices.

From 2005 to present – Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies.

Educational activities

Teaches courses: «Automation of financial and economic analysis», «Automation of payment operations», «Automated technologies of analysis and design», «Technical means of banking systems and their exploitation».

Research activities

Scientific interests – automated technologies of production and control of components for fiber optic information systems, micro-opto-electromechanical systems (MEMS, MOEMS), automation and control in the technology of electronic means.

He directs the training of masters and philosophy doctors, is a member of two specialized councils for the protection of doctoral thesis. The results of scientific research are introduced at the State Enterprise “Radio relay”. He was the responsible executor of seven research works, which were carried out in KNURE by the state order.

International activities / participation in international projects

He took part in organization of cooperation with world famous companies LG Electronics, FESTO, JABIL Circuit, FLEX, Philip Morris, Siemens PLM, Autodesk, Phoenix Contact, National Instruments, Texas Instruments.

In 1978, she graduated from the Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics with a speciality in “Electronic Computers”.
In 1981 she started working as an Instructor at the Department, in 1986 she worked as an Assistant Professor.

In 1984 she defended a PhD thesis.

In 1988, she became an Associate Professor, and since 1998, she has been a Professor at the Department of Electronic Computer Software (now the Department of Software Engineering).

Educational activity

She has made a significant contribution to the development of the “Software Engineering” major. She has been a scientific advisor on many postgraduate, master’s and specialist projects. She has been delivering the following courses: Intellectual Property, Systems Modelling, and Introduction to Software Engineering.

Research activities

She has trained 5 Candidates of Science in the speciality 05.13.06 – “Automatic Control Systems and Advanced Information Technologies,” 01.05.02 – “Mathematical Modeling and Computational Approaches”. She is a member of the editorial board of a collection of scientific papers, “Problems of Bionics”, and since 1997, she has been the head of the workshop of “Radio Electronics and Youth in the XXI Century” Scientific Conference.

Since 1985, participated in the implementation of 23 contractual, state budget research projects and works on scientific and technological cooperation in the field of progressive information technologies, in 9 of them – as a Responsible Executor.

International activity / participation in international projects

2001 – participation in the Tempus Project #UM_CP-20560-1999 on the use of the European system of educational loans (EUROPEAN CREDIT TRANSFER SYSTEM (ECTS)) in the system of higher education in Ukraine.

2019-2023 – participation in the  Erasmus+ CBHE project «Academic Response to Hybrid Threats – WARN» (Contract #10133-EPP-1-2019-1-FI-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) aimed at modernization of the educational programs for filling gaps in the field of security in various areas of professional activity to improve professional and civilian resilience to hybrid threats in Ukraine.

In 2000, he entered Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE). He completed his studies with a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems and Networks (specialization ” Information security in computer systems and networks “) in 2005.

From 2005 to 2006 he worked as a trainee researcher at the Electronic Computer Department of NURE.

In 2006 become a graduate student of Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics.

Received the Candidate of Technical Sciences degree in 2010 on  “Automation of management processes” specialization (the diploma of the candidate of sciences ДК№066241 dated January 26, 2011).

From 2009 to 2010 he worked as an engineer at the Center for Distance Education of the Kharkiv National Technical University of Agriculture. Petro Vasilenko.

From 2010 to 2011 he worked as an assistant at the Electronic computer department of KNURE.

Since 2011 he has been transferred to the post of senior teacher, since 2012 to the position of associate professor of the Electronic computer department.

From 2012 to 2017 he worked as a deputy director of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics Center for distance learning.

In 2016 he was awarded the title of Associate Professor of the Electronic computer department (Associate Professor, 12 ДЦ No. 047103 from February 25, 2016).

From 2017 till present he is working as dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Control of NURE.

From 2017 – Associate Professor of the Electronic Computers Department (part-time)

Educational activity

Carries out the lectures on:

  • Computer systems for gathering and processing of technological information;
  • Programming on Python;
  • Methods and algorithms for IT projects management.
