<li>F5 – &#8220;Сybersecurity and information protection&#8221; (specialization &#8220;Security of Information and Communication Systems&#8221;).</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Students of the specialty &#8220;<strong>Computer Engineering</strong>&#8221; mastered the principles of construction, technical equipment and technology for the design of computer systems and networks, methods for creating and administering software for computer systems, as well as network operating systems (Microsoft Windows Server, GNU / LINUX and other UNIX systems). Students study:</p>

<li>modern systems of language descriptions and high-level general-purpose programming languages (C ++, C#, Python, Java), high-level languages and advanced technologies for implementation of interactive web-applications (JavaScript, PHP, AngularJS, NodeJS);</li>
<li>the basics of software designing and hardware development of the devices at the system level, the development of IP-core for systems on the crystal, as well as the programming of microcontrollers, techniques for designing, maintaining reliability and security in corporate computer systems and networks, as well as in specialized computer systems and networks;</li>
<li>types and principles of organization and designing of modern wireless networks;</li>
<li>cloud services and mobile applications, smart devices and infrastructures integrated with Internet of Things and Big Data.</li>

The faculty has been implementing a large-scale international academic mobility program for many years, in which more than 50 students from all specialties participate annually. During the semester, students simultaneously study theory at Wrocław University of Technology and undertake practical training at LG Electronics and LG Energy Solutions, both near Wrocław, Poland.</em></p>
<p><em>Or you can complete a pre-graduate internship and defend certification works at the enterprises of the American companies Jabil and FLEX.</em></p>

<li>Development of normalization, recognition, analysis and image processing methods in computer vision systems (Department of  INF).</li>
<li>Development and research of intellectual data analysis  methods in visual information processing tasks (Department of  INF).</li>
<li>Development and analysis of temporal processing models and methods of video sequences (Department of  INF).</li>
<li> Stochastic models and methods in energy systems (Department of AM).</li>
<li>Stochastic models and methods of detection, recognition, classification and high-precision tracking of moving objects in the ground, air and sea environment (Department of AM).</li>
<li>The method of R-functions in mathematical modeling  of physical and mechanical fields (Department of AM).</li>
<li>Mathematical modeling of steady-state and non-stationary processes in radio physics (Department of HM).</li>
<li>Mathematical methods of assessing the measurement quality (Department of HM).</li>

<p>Faculty Departments actively support the <strong>international cooperation</strong> within the framework of concluded agreements with leading universities: Linnaeus University (Kingdom of Sweden), Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universitaet Hannover (Federal Republic of Germany), Uniwersytet Kazimierza Wielkiego (Republic of Poland), AGH (Krakow, Poland), Université de Limoges (Limoges, France), as well as with the Lublin branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences.</p>
<p>Scientists and the pedagogical staff, students of the Faculty take an active part in the international scientific and educational cooperation within a number of the international projects’ implementation (<strong>Erasmus Jean Monnet, NUMECO with the support of the University Agency of Francophonie, Horizon 2020 NOTIONES, Horizon 2020 EQUALS-EU, Erasmus +)</strong> and are involved annually to the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programs (KA1, KA2).</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em>The Faculty of Information Radio Technologies and Media Engineering at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics </em></strong>is a place where technology meets innovation, and knowledge becomes an asset for a successful career. We train specialists for whom radio electronics and computer science are not just knowledge, but powerful tools for building high-tech business, high-tech science, high-tech education, high-tech defense, and  high-tech Ukraine.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">We do not just teach – we work together with students on real engineering projects, master the latest AI technologies and integrate them into the educational process, participate in hackathons, scientific and technical competitions, and grant programs, and engage students in applied research and cooperation with IT and high-tech companies.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em>The interdisciplinary educational program </em></strong><strong><em>«Radio Engineering of Information Security</em></strong><strong><em>» combines specialty G5 Electronics, Electronic Communications, Instrumentation and Radio Engineering and specialty F5 Cybersecurity and Information Protection.</em></strong> The modern digital world is a world of challenges, rapid change, and constant cyber threats. Every signal and every data packet can become a target of attack, and the information systems of the state, business, and critical infrastructure require reliable protection. Students study methods of technical information protection, acquire skills in system vulnerability analysis and security assessment, and master modern technologies for preventing data leakage through radio-electronic, vibroacoustic, and visual-optical channels. Special attention is paid to practical skills: modeling cyberattacks, testing wireless systems, and implementing comprehensive information monitoring and protection systems.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Areas of professional activity and positions available to graduates include Information Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Engineer, Threat Detection Analyst, Security Systems Designer, Secure Communications Engineer, Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker, Embedded Security Engineer, Radio Monitoring and Control Engineer, Security Operations Center (SOC) Engineer.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em>Specialty G5 Electronics, Electronic Communications, Instrumentation and Radio Engineering</em></strong><strong><em>, educational program </em></strong><strong><em>«Multimedia Systems, Technologies and Computer Tools</em></strong><strong><em>»</em></strong> is aimed at training specialists in the development, implementation, and operation of hardware and software systems and technologies for creating multimedia content. The program provides both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies in computer graphics, animation, digital audio and video signal processing, and the integration of multimedia technologies into modern information and electronic systems.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">During their studies, students master hardware and software tools for creating two- and three-dimensional models and animation, technologies for synthesis, recording, processing, and playback of audio and video information, as well as the principles of building multimedia systems for use in the gaming, film, television, and entertainment industries.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Areas of professional activity and positions available to graduates include 3D Artist / Technical Artist, 3D Animator, Technical Animator, VFX Artist, Video Engineer, Technical Facial Animator, Lighting Engineer, Lighting Artist / Technical Artist, Motion Capture Animator, Frontend Designer.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em>Specialty G5 Electronics, Electronic Communications, Instrumentation Engineering, and Radio Engineering</em></strong><strong><em>, educational program </em></strong><strong><em>«Information Radio Technologies</em></strong><strong><em>». </em></strong>Mobile communications, Wi-Fi and 5G, satellite systems, radar, smart devices, the Internet of Things, security systems, navigation, telemetry, and unmanned aerial vehicles – all of these are impossible without specialists in information radio technologies.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The program places primary emphasis on the design and development of ultra-high-frequency (UHF) devices and antennas based on modern component technologies; in-depth study of advanced microprocessor systems; wireless information transmission technologies; and wireless power transfer technologies.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Career opportunities: RF Engineer, Hardware Engineer, DSP Engineer, Electronic Control Systems Engineer, Industrial Electronics Engineer, R&amp;D Engineer in civil/defense public and private high-tech research and manufacturing companies.</p>

Streaming platforms, interactive services, augmented and virtual reality, digital television, online games, and multimedia applications are all the result of media engineers’ work.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The «Media Engineering» program is designed for those who are interested in modern media and digital technologies; want to combine engineering thinking with creativity; aspire to work with audio, video, and interactive content; and see their future in IT, media, or digital services.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics has created a faculty of cybersecurity, which began operating on February 6, 2026.</p>
<p>The faculty&#8217;s core specialty is specialty F5 &#8220;Cybersecurity and Information Protection&#8221;, which has a history of over 30 years of educational and scientific process at KNURE in various faculties. The newly established faculty of cybersecurity combines all departments, scientific and scientific-pedagogical employees of the university who teach this specialty at KNURE.</p>
<p><strong>The educational programs of specialty F5 &#8220;Cybersecurity and Information Protection&#8221; are</strong></p>
<p>First level of higher education (bachelor&#8217;s degree):</p>
