The Department of Radiotechnologies Information and Communication Systems  of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was founded in 1963 as the Department of Radio Transmitters (later on – the Department of Signal Generation and Formation, later on – the Department of Radio Electronic Devices).

Main functions

The department trains bachelors in «Radio» area of training, «Radio electronic devices, systems and complexes» speciality.

Scientific directions:

  • development of sophisticated electronic systems for the generation and formation of pulsed electromagnetic radiation of high intensity;
  • development of radio transmissions of television, radio, signal conditioning devices in acoustic and optical bands.
