Andriy D. Tevyashev was born on the 26th of March, 1945 in Helendzhik, Krasnodar region, Russia.
Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science (2001), award "Excellence in Education of Ukraine" (2004), award "For Scientific Achievements" (2005), Diploma of the Supreme Council of Ukraine (2010).
Second place in the competition "Higher School of Kharkiv – the best names" in the nomination "The best teacher of basic science" (2000).
Second place in "Higher School of Kharkiv – the best names" in the nomination "Best Head of the Department" (2003).
A. Tevyashev is a member of the editorial boards of the journals: Scientific Bulletin of the Institute of Economics and New Technologies "New Technology", East European journal of advanced technology, scientific and technical collection "Problems of Bionics."
In 1963 Andriy D. Tevyashev entered Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (now NTU “KPI”), which he graduated with honors majoring in “Mathematical and Computing Devices”.
He worked as an engineer at Kaluga Scientific Research Radio Engineering Institute in 1970.
From 1970 to 1972 he served in the Soviet Army.
Academic work experience
From 1972 he worked at Kharkiv Institute of Radio Electronics at the Department of MMDD as an engineer.
From 1974 to 1977 he worked on his candidate scientific degree in KhNURE.
In 1978 he defended his thesis in speciality 05.13.01 “Technical Cybernetics and Information Theory”.
In 1978 he joined Kharkiv Institute of Municipal Engineering as an Assistant Professor at the department of AMCT.
In 1984 he defended his Ph.D. thesis in speciality 05.13.01 “Technical Cybernetics and Information Theory.”
Since 1986 he has been the Head of Applied Mathematics Department at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. He has been Professor, full member of Ukrainian Oil and Gas Academy since 1996, member of the Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine since 2006.
He specializes in developing and introducing stochastic models and methods, new information resource-saving and environmentally friendly production technologies and transport preparation and distribution of final products in power systems. Andriy D. Tevyashev is a supervisor of more than 30 completed and 3 research works being executed.
He is the Head of developing a series of “Information and analytical systems of technological processes control (IAS TPC)” for gas, electricity, water supply and sewerage. These control systems are successfully implemented at the enterprises ofUkraineandRussia. In particular, in 2000, he developed and implemented “Information and analytical system for pumping station control” at Kharkiv Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Service, in 2003 – “Regional automated control system of gas supply facilities”, in 2005 – “The system of prompt detection of leakage and illegal gas extractions from the condensate pipe “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”.
Social and international activity
In 2006, he developed and implemented the “Information and analytical system of operative dispatch control in technological processes of drainage in the state municipal service Kharkovkomunochistvod”.
In 2006 he worked on “Development and implementation of a software package for calculating and analyzing key performance indicators of the gas pipeline system in the Main Gas Pipeline Department “Donbastransgaz “, in 2008 – “Development and implementation of a software package for modeling and optimization of operation modes of the gas-compressor station “Novopskov” in the Main Gas Pipeline Department “Donbastransgaz”.
In 2011-2012, he developed and then implemented a software package for forecasting natural gas consumption for all categories of consumers of the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
Prof. A. Tevyashev made significant contribution to the establishment and development of the speciality “Applied Mathematics”, “System Analysis” and “Computer Science”: he is the author of lecture courses on “Algebra and Geometry”, “Discrete Mathematics”, “Numerical Methods”, “Theory of Probability and Mathematical Statistics”, “Mathematical Programming”, “Stochastic Programming”, “Optimal Stochastic Control.”
