She graduated from Kharkiv State University, Psychology Department and finished a postgraduate course at Philosophy Department in Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. In 2006 she defended a candidate dissertation “Function of Symbol in Reality Construction”.
Academic and methodological work
She is an author of teaching aids among which are “Psychology”, “Psychology of Extreme Relations”. She teaches the courses “Psychology of Extreme Relations” and “Gender Psychology”.
Her research interests are cultural and symbolic mediation of psychics, psychological problems of higher education, psychology of humans in extreme situations, psychology of creative thinking, psychology of gender differences. She is a consulting psychologist and trains a creativity course.
She has a number of publications among which are “Identity of Personality in Modern Society” (2011), “Symbolic Universe and Reality of Everyday Life” (2010), “Psychology: Scientific and Non-scientific Methods” (2009), “Creativity and Adaptation: Training Methods of Activity in Extreme Situations” (2008), “Symbolic Universe Makes Motivated Perception Manipulation Impossible” (2008).
