Awards and honors

For the introduction of scientific, methodological and organizational work in education S.F. Tanyansky has repeatedly been awarded letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In 1999 he was awarded the badge "Excellence in Education of Ukraine".

Born on 24.05.1938.


1964 – graduated from Kharkiv Pedagogical Institute;

1989 – by the decision of the State Board of Education of the USSR was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor;

2000 – by the decision of the Academic Council of Kharkiv State Technical University of Radio Electronics was awarded the title of Professor.

Since 1973 Stanislav Tanyansky has been Head of the Department of Physical Training.

Educational work

Developed a system of physical training and sports at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, which makes it possible to attract students of all years of studies to regular work-outs and training.

Scientific work

He supervises scientific and methodological work on “Impact of physical training and sports on students’ performance”; consults applicants of the Department for scientific degrees. Two theses were defended. 8 educational and methodological developments were implemented in the learning process.

Public and international activities

S.F. Tanyansky is a well-known athlete in the city of Kharkiv and in Ukraine as well, a sports veteran, a director and organizer in the field of physical culture and sports.

The Department has prepared two distinguished coaches of Ukraine. 6 students were awarded the title of Master of Sports of the international level. 2 students became Honored Masters of Sports of Ukraine.

Publications and patents

He has published over 70 scientific works including 4 with the stamp of the Ministry of Science and Education, and participated in international conferences. He is the author of the textbook "Natural foundations of the theory and practice in physical training for university students".
