2001 – electronics engineer, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Specialty – biotechnical and medical devices and systems.

2002 – Software Engineer, Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics, specialty – Software of automated systems.

2003– І category engineer of the department BMЕ KNURE.

2004 – Researcher of the department BMЕ KNURE2011 – Assistant of the department BMЕ KNURE (work part-time).

2011 – PhD of Engineering Sciences, specialty is 05.11.17 “Biological and medical devices and systems”. Thesis is “Method and information technology of herbal medicines selection for restore disturbed equilibrium of the human organism”.

2012 – Senior Research Fellow of the department BMЕ KNURE.

2012 – Senior lecturer of the department BMЕ KNURE (work part-time).

2016 – Associate Professor of the department BMI KNURE.

2016 – training course «Information system in medicine and health care management», Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas w Sosnowcu, Poland (Certificate of training program №39/BWZZ/2016).

Scientific interests: medical cybernetics; medical information technology and systems; numerical optimization techniques; methods and tools for the design and development of medical databases and data warehouses.

Scientific and technical achievements: mathematical models of components of drug selection recruitment of unidirectional and polydirectional action on the basis of three-dimensional space signs, methods and information technologies of choice of herbal medicines to restore the disturbed equilibrium of the human body, assessing the impact of natural and anthropogenic factors on the quality of plant products, determining the centers of aquatic biological objects toxicity, adaptive capabilities of the human body with a cardiovascular disease, identifying informative attributes of different etiologies diseases.

A. Porvan trained more than 20 students scientific works, most of which won prizes at the provincial, regional and all-Ukrainian competition student advanced studies.
