Education and Career

In1970 he graduated from Slatinsky secondary school.

1970-1975 – student of the Kharkov Institute of Radioelectronics (faculty of the KR).

1975-1977 – engineer-designer of the Kharkov plant of electrical equipment.

1977-1982 – Engineer of the Kharkiv Territorial Production Association “Kharkovkompromprom”.

1982-1983 – cadet of higher courses of the KGB of the USSR, Kiev.

1983-1989 – operative, senior officer of the economic department of the KGB Department of the Ukrainian SSR in the Kharkov region.

1989-1991 – the senior operative officer of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Counterintelligence Department of the KGB Directorate of the Ukrainian SSR in the Kharkov Region.

1991-1992 – Senior detective of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Office of the National Security Service of Ukraine (USNSU) in the Kharkov region.

1992-2001 – Senior detective, head of the department, deputy head of the department, head of the Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Office of the Security Service of Ukraine (UAS) in the Kharkov region;

2001-2004 – Deputy Chief, First Deputy Head of the Department of Security Service in the Kharkov region.

2004-2005 – Consultant (on the post of 1 deputy head of the department) of the special investigations and inspections of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Kyiv.

2005-2006 – Head of the Office of the Security Service in the Mykolayiv region.

2006-2013 – special mission officer (by the post of the head of the department) of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Security Service of Ukraine, Kiev.


State Awards

For the period of service awarded:

  • a mark of distinction of the President of Ukraine – a medal “For military service to Ukraine”;
  • 1997 – Honorary Distinction of the Security Service of Ukraine;
  • 2003 – departmental incentive mark of distinction “Cross of Valor of the 2nd stage”;
  • 2007 – 10 medals.
