Education and Career

1983-1988 – training at the Institute of Pedagogy of the Nicolas Copernicus University in Torun, where she graduated from the magistracy in pedagogy.

January, 1992 – PhD in Pedagogy of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences in Moscow.

2011 – Appointment as assistant professor at the University of Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz.

2012 – graduated from graduate school in public relations.

2014 – graduated from the graduate school in the specialty “Education Management”.


State Awards

1999/2000 – awarded the rector of the University of Nicholas Copernicus for her achievements in scientific activity.

2002/2003 – Honorary Mention of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Nicolaus Copernicus for dedication to work.

October 31, 2001 – Recognition of the Director of the Regional Center for Social Policy in Torun for the preparation and conduct of research on poverty and a joint organization – scientific conference “No matter how to give up poverty?”.

May 29, 2002 – Recognition from Marshal of Kujawsko-Pomorsky Voivodeship Valdemar Akhramovich for the dedication and contribution of the work in the development of a social assistance strategy.

October 26, 2005 – Gratitude from the Mayor of Bydgoszcz for the presentation of the study and for the fruitful cooperation with the PUP in Bydgoszcz.

May, 2009 – WSG Figurine – For Favor to Work at University.

March 4, 2014 – a medal was celebrated on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Central Statistical Bureau and the International Year of Statistics.

2018 – medal from the Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov (Kazakhstan) for cooperation.

07/03/2018 – Diploma of Honorary Professor of Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics (Ukraine).


Research activities

Research interests: family sociology, social work, social pedagogy.

Education research staff: about 50 masters, several dozen graduate students.


Social activities

Member of the Polish Sociological Society.
Member of the scientific councils of international publications.
Coordinator of relations between city authorities, entrepreneurs and the University.
Member of radio and television programs (University promotion).
