NURE together with Unicheck will check scientific works for signs of plagiarism

The Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics one of the best higher educational institutions of Ukraine adhering to the principles of academic integrity. From now on, NURE together with Unicheck will check scientific works for signs of plagiarism using the online service Unicheck, which is already successfully used by more than 120 Ukrainian educational institutions and about 1.5 million users worldwide.

The relevant contract which provides the ability to access the service of Unicheck was signed by first Vice-Rector of NURE Igor Ruban and the Director of the Company “Anti-Plagiarism” (Unicheck Ukraine) Andrey Sidlyarenko at 23 April 2019.
“Such a partnership is very important not only for our University but also for Ukrainian science in general because it guarantees the absence of plagiarism in scientific works, which is a sign of quality and uniqueness,” said the first Vice-Rector of NURE, Professor Igor Ruban.
In turn, the Director of Unicheck Ukraine Andriy Sidlyarenko added that the mission of Unicheck is to improve the quality of education in Ukraine through the introduction of the principles of academic integrity in the University culture and improve the academic motivation of students and teachers. To implement contests with the academic virtues, preparing manuals for academic virtue, are held to call Ukraine measures to improve the quality of writing academic and scientific papers. And at the beginning of April 2018, LLC “Antiplagiat” (Unicheck Ukraine) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine signed a Memorandum, according to which Ukrainian universities were able to use the next 7 years for free a modern service for checking scientific works for plagiarism.
