Laboratory fulfils the research in the following areas:
- Knowledge Management, Ontologies, Semantic Web, Web Services;
- Development of the Collective Awareness Platform;
- Teaching within research areas
- Development of the cyber security tools for data poisoning attacks in intelligent systems.
The main results are:
1. Joint European Virtual Venturing Programme in the field of Information Technologies (2006 – today)
Brief description: joint student teams from Ukraine (NURE, AI Department) and France (IT Faculty, ECAM-EPMI, Cergy-Pontoise) create innovative ideas for student start-ups in the field of information technologies and develop business plans under the supervision of French and Ukrainian experts in Information Technologies and Entrepreneurship (main study mode – teleconferences).

3. The Project #G5511”Cyber Defence for Intelligent Systems” funded by NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme (2018 – 2021):
- development of the immune system for Cyber-physical systems;
- development of the smart hybrid models for early detection and prevention of cyber threats and attacks.
