According to the educational program “Quality of products, processes and software” (according to the international classification “Quality assurance”), students study modern models of software product quality and its life cycle; acquire skills of forming the nomenclature of quality indicators of software products and their evaluation in accordance with the methods of modern standards, including for the purpose of certification; learn to design and implement modern quality management systems for IT services. In addition, students receive basic training in testing and quality assurance (Quality Assurance) software, which allows them to further successfully work in leading IT companies.
Having mastered this specialty you will be able to work:
- Project Manager;
- Process Manager;
- Quality Manager;
- Test controller;
- Forensic expert;
- Specialist in certification, standardization, metrology.
Also, the acquired competencies allow graduates of the educational program “Quality of products, processes and software” to work:
- in the quality departments of leading national and international IT companies (for example, Epam System, Global Logic, Gentle Code, CHI Software, ApexTech);
- in market and metrological supervision bodies (for example, the Main Department of the State Food and Consumer Service in Kharkiv region);
- customs service, in expert organizations (for example, Kharkiv Research Institute of Forensic Science named after MS Bokarius);
- in the leading certification bodies (for example, SE “Ukrmetrteststandard”);
- in metrological services of enterprises, in calibration and testing laboratories (for example, NSC “Institute of Metrology”);
- in standardization bodies (for example – SE “Ukrainian Research and Training Center for Standardization, Certification and Quality”);
- in accreditation bodies (for example, the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine).
