We invite you to participate in the International Summer School!


You are invited to Join Summer Schools in Master courses in IT security areas organized by the EU ENGENSEC project (http://engensec.eu/about-the-project/)!

Summer School It will be held on the basis of Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine, during June 27th to July 8th 2016. Courses offered Both Summer Schools will provide education programs of 3 ECTS credits that will be confirmed by official certificates.

Guest teachers from university partners of ENGENSEC will give lectures on the courses:

 Malware

 Digital forensic

 Pentesting and ethical hacking

 Wireless & Mobile security

 Advanced Network & Cloud security

The courses belong to a set of ENGENSEC double Diploma courses developed by ENGENSEC partners. Those courses are meeting current security IT challenges, identified by academia and industry.

The teaching will be focusing on Engineering principles of IT Security in each subject area. Furthermore, both summer schools will include a practical Challenge (Competition) in the final examination.

Official Language

The official language of the summer schools including teaching is English.


Participation in the schools is free of costs. The ENGENSEC Project will cover costs of stay and travel costs.


Each university that is official partner of the RNGENSEC project can assign students to one of the summer schools according to own quota that meet the requirement criteria.

Quotas for universities: Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics – four students


Students are eligible to apply to the summer schools if he/she meets the criteria:

 The home university if official partner od ENGENSEC

 Is Master student in IT security areas and has sufficient pre-knowledge and skills in the IT security area according to the syllabuses of the courses

 Has the proper skill in English to be able to listen to lectures and communicate with teachers and other students (i.e., at least B2 level).


Students who want to take part in one of the summer schools and meet the selection criteria should send application to person responsible for IT security summer school in his/her university. Deadline for application submitting is 16 April, 2016 for all of universities.


The process of participant´s selection is required to be fair, transparent, and documented ensuring equal opportunities for participants. Universities might change selection rules according to local peculiarities.
