Joint Ukrainian-French English-language training program for students of computer science areas (NURE) and Information Technology, ITESCIA, Cergy (France) runs by the Department of Artificial Intelligence since 2006. The program is included in the bachelor curriculum of NURE and ITESCIA masters. Under this program, Ukrainian and French specialists teach students a course on business planning and entrepreneurship called «European Virtual Venture», and students apply the knowledge to create business plans for IT-startups under their leadership.

Communication during the course takes place virtually via video conferencing due to Polycom VSX7000s system, Skype and Moodle.

After completing the program, students will receive a certificate signed by the leaders of both universities indicating the obtained ECTS credits. This program is an example of a business incubator of ideas and so-called “mobile home”.

This year, students have formed 4 groups that coalesced around innovative business ideas to build smart mobile applications. The aim of the course is to prove a competitive advantage and commercial appeal of their ideas. To do this, the students analyzed the market and competitors, developed SWOT-analysis, prepared an operational plan, prescribed marketing and management strategy of companies. The projects were successfully defended in the last video conference on March, 25.
