NURE PROJECTS ARE AMONG THE BEST ONES FOR INVESTMENT
NURE projects were among the best in the opinion of the expert council of the contest of innovation and investment projects for attraction of investors to the development of the city of Kharkiv.
Summing up the results of the competition and awards ceremony was held in the framework of the International Forum for discussing Kharkiv Development Strategy until 2020, which took place on 16 September.
The winner in the category ‘‘Best investment project in the sphere of housing and communal services’’ is the project «Energy cluster» (supervisor – vice-rector for scientific and methodical work of NURE S.Ignatiev), the third place was awarded the project ‘‘Development and implementation of municipal wastewater treatment plants’’, the second place –a complex
‘‘Harkovvodootvedenie’’ KP ‘‘Harkovvodokanal’’ production line recycling sludge wastewater and production of alternative biofuels’’(supervisor – Deputy head of Research Division A.I.Dohov).
The best health care is the project “Medical intelligent system diagnostics and monitoring of patients and support their treatment process for family medicine” and “Individual contactless optoelectronic sensor device audible warning to the spatial orientation of the workers with visual impairments” which took second place in the same nomination (supervisor – prof. V.Prohorov).
In the field of logistics and transportation services-winner project was the regional information-analytical system of monitoring and traffic management (supervisor – A. Dohov); and under the guidance of A.Tkachenko the City Geographic Information System-based software with open source in the field of information and communication technologieswon; and in the field of multimedia production second place multimedia complex on “Learn to paint in the style of Anime», and the third – a multimedia training package on “Zoology”.
Acting rector of NURE Eduard Rubin took part in the humanitarian section of the forum, where, in his speech said: “Now the demand for programmers and Kharkiv universities, of which there are many, responded quickly and built a system of training of IT specialists. Gradually they improve the quality of training of students, cooperate with one another, constantly modernize curricula, strengthen relationships with the business and together come to understand how best to work with. “
Eduard Rubin, evaluating the potential of our city, expressed confidence that Kharkiv has an opportunity to become the capital of our country’s IT industry.
”Kharkiv has always been a city of scientists, business and industry, which was at the height of high tech industry in each of the stages of technology development, so do not forget your past and create from it a foundation for the future”, – he added.
